Today, we celebrate and commemorate the 37th anniversary of the People Power Revolution. 
The people power movement, popularly known as the EDSA Revolution, was a historic moment in Philippine history. It exhibits the strength of peaceful resistance and unity amid oppression.
The revolution began on February 22 and lasted four days, during which the number of people who came up along EDSA increased by thousands over the next few days. On the same night when Marcos left the country, countless people strolled, prayed together, and glorified as Cory Aquino was sworn in as President of the Philippines. Let this historical event inspire us, especially the youth to continue to fight for our freedom against oppression.
