Windows XP Starter Edition. This version of Windows XP is pretty dulled down and doesn't have a lot of functionality. Only 3 programs can be run at once, and it doesn't have a lot of customizability. Product key is in the attached text file, phone activation required as usual.

I remember the period 2000 - 2007, computers running Microsoft Windows were very popular in Vietnam. In those days, we were so poor that we didn't buy a license but used "bootleg" or accepted to use Windows 9x or less. For us, someone with a Windows license (even if it's just a Starter) is already cool. My grandmother's house used to have a computer running Windows XP Starter with Windows Genuine when I was a kid

It's branded as "Windows XP Home Edition" during text-mode setup because Home Edition was the foundation for the Starter Edition.

if this was the professional release of XP, then XP would be the worst OS ever. even Me and Vista could launch more than, dun dun dun, the overwhelming amount of.... 3 programs at a time... yeah
apparently older people were confused with more than 3 programs open, but it's like if you're confused, why did you open them? also, apparently it's also meant for lower-end machines (yeah, the ones that could barely even run Me) and the humongous cursor is due to this also being made for like, netbooks they're called? i don't remember.
anyways, starter line of products that ran from XP through Vista till 7 (there thankfully was no Windows 8 Starter) was made for third-world countries and apparently to stop piracy (although, people pirated XP even more now instead of sticking with starter, because honestly, WHY would you use an os where you can't open more than 3 programs at a time?) microsoft really made 2 of the best Windows OS and Vista sucky versions, all cuz of their awful tactic of trying to stop piracy, which fueled piracy even more instead of stopping it.
tl;dr: it's pretty bad
