Derek Ramsay to quit showbiz after marriage?

The actor says he thought about quitting, wants to focus on family life

22 Dec – Actor Derek Ramsay recently revealed that he has plans to reduce his work in showbiz or even quit if he gets married again.

According to PEP, the actor, who is dating non-showbiz girlfriend Joanne Villablanca, shared that he may back down from showbiz to focus on his family when he's married, as that is the kind of man he is.

"Maybe I will do a movie here and there, but I'm not sure. I really have to give it a lot of thought over the holidays and figure out what I am going to do," he said.

However, Ramsay stated that he is still unsure, since he loves being an actor.

"Marriage is a really big responsibility, commitment. I want to give my all to it," he added.

When asked what Villablanca thinks about his career in showbiz, Ramsay said that his girlfriend is very supportive of him and that the idea to quit didn't come from her.
