I lost my cell phone is there a way to track who has my phone?

Hello,

I lost my cell phone the other day. I notice that on that day, the person apparently started using Data at around 10p. I am thinking that perhaps they were downloading my personal information and pictures, etc, maybe.

I have since transferred my phone number to my new phone. Is there a way to find out more about who has my phone? This has been extremely upsetting.

I did not have a password on my phone.

Phones are tracked by the account that is used on the phone. If it's an iPhone it's the Apple ID account and password. If it's an Android phone it's the Google account and password.

Signing in the same account was used on your lost phone on a different device and using find my phone may allow you to locate the device.

Thank you for your response. I only received an email about it today.

That's why it's a good idea to check back on the Forum itself, rather than wait for an email asking you if you have "marked and accepted answer"

After three days, the battery on your phone would have run out, and you cannot track a phone with a dead battery. This is something you could have Googled and received an instant answer to rather than posting here on the Forum and waiting three days for an email.

I hope you did not wait.
