*The shading for his beard wasn’t scanned properly*

1. Why did I choose this picture of this Celebrity/Person to draw?

I chose this photo because this specific photo of Francisco had so much detail. The shape and shading of his eyes were what I wanted to test and practice on.

2. What was the most difficult area of the face to draw?

The most difficult facial feature to draw was his facial hair. In the actual drawing, the shading of his beard, mustache, and hair are dark enough to look realistic. I continually tried to make the shading darker without making the physical copy too dark but every time, the scanner would only scan the hard pencil lines.

3. How did I overcome this trail?

I overcame this by continuing to shade it in, then started to rub the shade to create a darker colour. I combined the many pencil streaks to make a kind of “cloud” looking beard.

4. Did I improve drawing a specific feature?

Yes, the specific feature improved on was the beard/hair/mustache shading. If I hadn’t come pass this issue, I wouldn’t have been able to make it more presentable.
