KBS 2TV’s variety show “2 Days, 1 Night” saw some 5 percent rise in viewership, reportedly on the back of a guest appearance by actor Park Bo-gum on Sunday.

The episode recorded 19.9 percent in national viewer ratings, topping in Sunday entertainment programs, according to local researcher Nielsen Korea Monday. The program had recorded 14.7 percent viewer ratings in the previous episode.

The Sunday episode revolved around free road trips after the co-hosts and guests, including Park, were broken into two groups.

A local columnist complimented Park for his enthusiasm during group matches and well-rounded personality throughout the filming session.

Park will star in the network channel’s new period TV series “Moonlight Drawn by Cloud.”
