The First Line of Defense Memorial in Dinalupihan Bataan Province. The first fighting in Bataan took place here at Layac Junction (now absorbed into Dinalupihan) on Jan. 6 1942. Bataan had a defense in depth that is multiple lines of defense that could be fallen back to before hitting the main line of defense.
