Wedding Countdown! Katharine Snuggles Up To David On Red Carpet Days After Bachelorette Party

Katharine McPhee and David Foster already look like newlyweds! Ahead of their lavish wedding, the Broadway star and the Canadian musician attended the Hot Pink Party at the Park Avenue Armory in New York City.
The Wednesday, May 15 gala was hosted by the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, and sticking to the theme, McPhee, 35, wore a stunning rose-pink gown and matching makeup. Foster, 69, meanwhile, looked dapper in a navy-blue suit.
On the red carpet, McPhee and Foster embraced one another looking happy and in love. McPhee rubbed her nose against Foster’s cheek and showed PDA with him in front of the cameras.
At the event, the singers performed together, getting smiles from the star-studded crowd.
As RadarOnline.com readers know, Foster met McPhee on season 5 of American Idol, when he was a mentor and she was a contester. Afterwards, they became good friends, so much so that Foster attended McPhee’s wedding to Nick Cokas in 2008. The two divorced in 2014.
In 2011, Foster married Yolanda Hadid, only to divorce her in 2017 and make his public debut with McPhee days later.
Though Foster and McPhee have received much backlash due to their 34-year age gap, they’ve made it clear age is just a number for them. In July 2018, during a romantic trip to Italy, Foster popped the question and McPhee said yes.
On November 26, after their engagement, she shared a hilarious photoshopped image from Meet The Fockers. Replacing the actors’ faces with those of her, Foster, and his daughters. She then replaced the text, to read “Meet The Fosters,” and “Mommy’s home.”
Earlier this month, McPhee’s loved ones threw her a beautiful bachelorette party.

“The future is happy and bright” she captioned a photo of her wearing a white veil and showing off her massive diamond ring in front of her mirror.

In an interview with the Uk’s Sunday Times newspaper, she said: “I have plenty of time. We know lots of people who have big age differences with little kids and babies and they’re older than David and I are. You don’t hear about them much because they’re not celebrities.”

Plus, she gets along great with her hubby-to-be’s kids — though some haters like to point out the fact that she’s younger than some of them.

On Instagram, Foster’s daughters often tease McPhee about her age and about her relationship with their dad.

In August, the “Waitress” star posted a photo from her gorgeous British Columbia vacation with Foster. “FEELS LIKE I COULD HAVE BEEN INVITED ON THIS BEAUTIFUL TRIP,” Barely Famous reality star, Erin Foster, wrote in the comments section. McPhee, however, fired back. “@erinfoster mommy and daddy need alone time,” she wrote along with a laughing emoji, face palm emoji and shrugging emoji.

Sara Foster is also on McPhee’s side, and was not at all surprised when she started dating her father. “He’s like forever young,” she told Us Weekly in August. “His essence and his aura is that of like a 40-year-old.” She added that her 30-year-old friends have always wanted to date him, and that when it comes to his relationship with McPhee, “people need to just get over it” and “mind your own business.”
