Cho Kyuhyun Headcanon: First Date
• so kyuhyun would take you to a musical and dinner
• he would definitely picked you up and be 15 mins earlier. He would pace a lot nervously and think of what to say when you come out
• he had “hey you’re on time!”, “wow you look great”, “omg, you are beautiful”
• when you came out, he was taken aback by your beauty and unintentionally “wow, you’re a great time”
• you had to second take and when you saw the panic unfold in his eyes, you know it was the nerves talking.
• “no wait, I didn’t mean it like that. You look great and you’re on time. Not that I’m thinking anything else. I really wanted to say you look good, like really good…”
•you chuckled at his rambling and quickly grabbed his hands and slowly dragged him away to the car he parked out front, in which he finally stopped, unlocked the car and let you in.
•”so where are we going?”
•”we are watching Magic Candies! (musical)”
•”oh? I’ve been wanting to watch that but it’s sold out so quickly!”
•”I know.” he replied simply
• you watched the musical intently, listening to the vocals that resonate through the auditorium, the story line that was captivating and the lighting effects that was well planned.
•kyuhyun however, couldn’t focus. He was still nervous and it didn’t help that you look so good. Your focused face was like art to him, and he couldn’t help but noticed how you would slightly open your mouth when you are awed, or when your eyebrows raised a little when you are confused.
•after the musical, you told him that you really liked it and when you asked him he said “same.”
•kyuhyun took you to a restaurant nearby. It had chill vibes and there weren’t that many people.
•he got a table by the window.
•you both ordered mains and a glass of wine and a plate of flan to share.
•throughout dinner, he keeps on telling you interesting and embarrassing facts about himself and it got you so intrigued by him.
• “tell me something too” he urges.
• you shook your head, knowing it’s too embarrassing.
•”please?”
•”okay fine. So back in school, I was bad at sports. Somehow I got picked to play dodgeball for the class. ..,”
•you suddenly stopped and he was covering his mouth, widening his eyes, “I think I know where this is going. Continue” he gestured.
•you shook your head, “so I was doing well the first round, got so confident and the next thing I knew, the ball hit my face directly. And I had to go through school with a big red mark on my face” you finished, trying to hold your laughter.
•he too broke into laughter, “awww, I bet you still looked as good as you are now”
• now it was your turn to blush. Kyuhyun had his way with words.
•kyuhyun sent you back home and you hesitated to go up. “If I ask you out again, will you be willing to?”
• “I’ll wait for your call then” you replied, leaving a kiss on the side of his head.
•you finally went up and as soon as you close the door behind you, your phone rang. “Do you want to go to the new restaurant downtown next week?”
•”yes kyuhyun, I would love to”
