K-pop idol group Super Junior will hold its 2024 Asia tour titled Super Show Spin-Off: Halftime. Jakarta is again on the list of cities that Super Junior will visit for the concert. Super Junior plans to meet fans through this Asian tour, as well as new music and various performances.
This news was announced by SM Entertainment on Wednesday, January 17, 2024. Super Junior will start the Asian tour series in Seoul in June 2024. After the Seoul performance, Super Junior Super Show Spin-Off: Halftime plans to continue the tour in other Asian countries, such as Bangkok and Singapore in July 2024, Kuala Lumpur and Taipei in August 2024, and Hong Kong and Jakarta in September 2024.
During the fan meeting celebrating 18 years of debut last September, Super Junior did hint that they were preparing something for 2024. At that time, the members admitted that the most fun and happy moment was when they were back together as Super Junior. They want to continue to give surprise gifts to their fans, who are familiarly called ELF.
“There are many plans that have been planned for the 19th and 20th anniversaries,” Super Junior said. “We will make you feel like ‘Super Junior has prepared a gift like this.”
Previously, Super Junior’s sub-unit L.S.S. (Leeteuk, Shindong, and Siwon) announced their first solo concert. The concert titled The Show: Th3ee Guys will be held in Seoul, Hong Kong, Jakarta, Ho Chi Minh City, Bangkok, and Taipei. For Jakarta itself, L.S.S. will hold a concert on March 9, 2024.
Not only that, Kyuhyun Super Junior will also come to Jakarta this year as part of the Asian tour of his solo album Restart. Kyuhyun will have a solo concert in Jakarta on May 18, 2024. In addition to Jakarta, Kyuhyun will also perform in Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand.
