Office

Pink is a philosophy of life - to me, it symbolises frivolity and happiness. This is my pink office at Roger Vivier in Paris [Inès is the brand's ambassador].

reccord

'Dead Flowers' from the Rolling Stones' Sticky Fingers album always puts me in a good mood.

fudge

People think I only eat salad but I am like a maniac with fresh fudge from Fortnum & Mason, which I order online because we have nothing like it in France. I can easily eat half a box in one go.

Violette drawing

When the girls were little, I always framed their drawings - this one is by Violette. I think that children's drawings are genius because they are so free, something they lose as they grow older. I used to give them craft paper and chalk and in return they would give me masterpieces.

Bruno Frisoni's drawings

I am crazy about Roger Vivier creative director Bruno Frisoni's drawings: they're elegant and humorous, with a lightness that only he can do. He did this when I received the Legion of Honour in 2008.

daughters

My daughters couldn't be more different. Violette (top), the blonde, is very fun, very bright and sharp, and fashion obsessed already; Nine, the brunette, is an intellectual, studying philosophy. She isn't remotely interested in being a model even though people ask her all the time.

glasses

I have several of these chic, throwaway reading glasses which I buy from Colette in Paris for 30 euros each - I am never without them. They are the ultimate accessory for an old woman!

ring

I love Marie-Hélène de Taillac's rings for their simple shapes and colours like sweets. She made this sapphire one especially for me.

boots

These boots sum up my spirit and style: the leopard print is a little bit rock 'n' roll and fun but the shape is elegant too. That's what makes something a classic.
