Jinkee Pacquiao, Agot Isidro trend on Twitter because of a couple of luxury bicycles
Jinkee Pacquiao and Agot Isidro trended on Philippine Twitter all Thursday afternoon for an Instagram post on bicycles.
Six days ago, Jinkee took to Instagram to give her followers a glimpse of her chic luxury bicycles.
"His and Hers," Jinkee wrote in the caption of her photo showing her Hermes and Louis Vuitton bike in pastel pink and cream colors respectively.
Retweeting a press pickup, Agot Isidro said, "marami rin ang walang trabaho at nagkukumahog humanap ng pera para may pakain sa kanilang pamilya. Puede ba, konting sensitivity man lang?"
That set the ball rolling. Some netizens defended Jinkee while others, took Agot's side.
Idk to you... but Jinkee, showing off their wealthy and happy family doesn't make me feel uncomfortable at all. Her family deserves it.

Maybe there are just people in this society that just can't handle that. Idk.
Is that what you call "insecurity"? Hate?

Jinkee Pacquiao, as the spouse of a senator, should stop flexing their wealth at this time of pandemic.

Senator Manny Pacquiao should be reminded of the provisions of Republic Act No. 6713 and Article 25 of the Civil Code.

But i really find Jinkee Pacquiao's IG post so distasteful. Growing up, my late dad would always tell me that ,not bec you can buy.....you.should and worst flaunt it. (1/2)
I don't see anything wrong with Jinkee Pacquiao's IG post.

It's not just some bicycle.
The pastel-colored Hermes bicycle of Jinkee's had a label that read Hermès Faubourg Saint-Honoré.
The Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré is a street in Paris, France where French luxury brand is headquartered.
According to a report on PEP.ph, Hermes launched two ultra-lightweight carbon fiber bicycles called "Le Flâneur d'Hermès" and "Le Flâneur sportif d'Hermès" bikes which costs $10,750 or P531,000.
There are no news on Louis Vuitton releasing bikes, PEP said, but in 2016, Italian bike brand Pinarello was sold to L Catterton, a firm partly owned by the Louis Vuitton Moet Hennessy (LVMH) group.
It added that Pro BMX rider Nigel Sylvester upholstered a BMX bike with the iconic LV monogram.
Sylvester collaborated with upholsterer and artist Daniel McRorie of Rickard Guy for the art project called "218 CAPUCINE" and was sold for $18,000 or around P890,000.
