Sarah Jessica Parker Topped Off a 16-Foot Champagne Tower in a Holiday-Ready Sheer LBD

If you’ve been searching for holiday party outfit inspo to get you through the most wonderful time of the year, look no further than Carrie Bradshaw herself, Sarah Jessica Parker. Not only did the actress and style icon kick off December by topping an impressive 16-foot Champagne tower off with a bit of bubbly last night, but she did it in the most SJP fashion possible: while wearing a stunning see-through lace LBD.

On Thursday, Parker arrived at The Fifth Avenue Hotel in New York City to celebrate its grand opening, just in time for the Christmas season. For the occasion, the A-lister slipped into an elevated version of the typical LBD that featured a sheer lacy bodice, a shimmering knee-length skirt, and a fringed hem. Sarah Jessica layered the see-through frock over nothing but a plain black bra and matching high-waisted underwear — opting to let her midriff and legs be on full display — and she accessorized the look with a silky black trench coat and bow-embellished silver and black heels.

The actress wore her caramel-colored hair down in voluminous waves with a middle part to complement her chic ensemble, and she rounded out her glam by adding rosy cheeks, feathered lashes, and a glossy pink lip.

While Parker may have attended the event solo, her outing came just days after the world got a rare glimpse at her sweet family of five. 

On Monday, SJP’s oldest child, James (who she shares with husband Matthew Broderick), shared the family snap in question when posting a selfie on his Instagram account. In the photo, James, Parker, and Broderick snuggled up in bed alongside the couple’s twins, Marion and Tabitha, over Thanksgiving weekend. 

“Cheers, California,” he captioned the snap.
