INTERVIEW: We get to know ‘Kissable lips’ actor Yoon Seo Bin a bit better
Yoon Seo Bin gives us a passionate and emotions filled performance in “kissable lips” that leaves fans going through countless emotions. In this interview we talk with the actor about acting, singing and how he manages to bring these emotions to the screen.

In a few words, for a reader who is yet to watch Kissable lips, who is Yoon Seo Bin?
I am an actor and singer based in Korea. My recent work includes the drama Kissable Lips, and in December 2021, my first single called Starlight was released.

As well as being an actor, you are also a very talented singer. Did you find that expressing what would have been Min Hyun’s emotions was easier to do in song, like in the song “I’ll be there” than in playing Min Hyun on screen?
I think it was harder to work on the song. I remember I had to write and sing the Korean version of the lyrics after the work was finished, so I remember trying to recall Min hyun's feelings again.
You have an honest and heart-warming performance of Min Hyun. What went into preparing for this role?
In order to get closer to Min hyun, I focused on all the senses that Min hyun could feel. When he was with his favourite, Junho hyun, the weather, atmosphere, and the scent of the air naturally felt good.

BL shows around the world are still regarded as controversial to broadcast in some areas. What are some of the lessons or takeaways that you took or experienced from being in a drama like Kissable Lips?
I felt that likes and dislikes should be respected in accepting differences, and as an actor, I tried to focus on the character as much as possible. I tried to convey my sincerity and many viewers sympathized with the character, so I learned the power of sincerity.
Looking at Min Hyun, are there any similarities between you and him?
I think it’s his eyes looking at Junho. When the camera turned around, he was looking at Junho with the same eyes I had when I first saw Ji woong hyung.
As a young actor and performer, what do you hope to achieve in your career?
I want to play more diverse roles, act, and do various activities as a singer. Thanks to your love and support for "Kissable lips" I'm encouraged.
