On July 28, KAAGNY Board Chair Younghwan Kim invited members of the Senior Citizens Voters Federation of New York to share a meal at Hahm Ji Bach in Flushing, Queens. The Voters Federation, which represents fifteen community organizations, advocates for the interests and civic representation of the elderly members of the Korean American community.

Chairman Kim, who runs Hahm Ji Bach, said, "It is incredibly important that we pay respects to the first generation of Korean Americans, for our community would not be what it is without our elders.”

During the luncheon, KAAGNY representatives met with President Hyung-bin Im of the Senior Citizens Voters Federation and the elderly members of the Korean American community. Additionally, KAAGNY was able to register 250 people to its Membership Program.
