However, following the newlyweds' dreamy ceremony, the actress is embroiled in a controversy. It was after her celebrity friends were not spotted at the wedding.

With this, rumor sparked that the trio cut ties with the singer-actress.
Amid the controversy, Son Dam Bi addressed the issue and took to social media to clarify the rumors.
Just days after her wedding, the "Mrs. Cop 2" actress shared wedding photos on Instagram and thanked everyone who came to her wedding, whom she described as a "happy day."
She also took the opportunity to dish out rumors and denied that there were issues involving her friends.
On Son Dam Bi's Instagram, the caption reads, "I'm saying this because there were many preposterous sayings on this great day. None of those are even remotely true, so please don't misunderstand. I'll live happily and well."
Why Did Jung Ryeo Won and Gong Hyo Jin Skip Son Dam Bi's Wedding?
It seems like the controversy was baseless since Jung Ryeo Won and Gong Hyo Jin had personal reasons why they failed to attend Son Dam Bi's wedding.
As noted by an outlet, Jung Ryeo Won's agency, H& Entertainment, which is also the label of Son Dam Bi, revealed that there was a conflict between the ceremony and the actress' schedule.
She is currently filming her new drama in Chuncheon, Gangwon-do, and it would be impossible to make it to the ceremony.
The same goes for Gong Hyo Jin, who also has reasons behind her no-show at her friend's wedding.
In a separate outlet, Son Dam Bi's agency shared to TenAsia, that the award-winning actress advised that she couldn't make it to the wedding but actively liked videos and photos during the ceremony.
To recall, Gong Hyo Jin and Son Dam Bi first starred in the hit Kdrama "When the Camellia Blooms," where the 42-year-old star played the lead role while Son Dam Bi portrayed her on-screen friend.
From reel to real, the duo's relationship became stronger, and they would often post their get-together on social media.
