This document describes several traditional Filipino games played as preliminaries to determine who will start the main competition. These include: 1) Catching Fingers - One player closes their hand around the fingers of other players, and whoever is caught becomes "it". 2) Bunutan - Players draw objects of different lengths from someone's closed hand, and whoever draws the shortest becomes "it". 3) Tao o Ibon - Two players guess heads or tails on a coin toss, and whoever guesses incorrectly becomes "it".
