UNLESS it initiates a trade, Alaska seems bent on bringing back its same core for the next PBA season.
The Aces on Wednesday re-signed to new deals Kevin Racal, JP Mendoza, Yutien Andrada, and guard Ping Exciminiano.
The trio of Racal, Mendoza, and Andrada inked two-year contracts, while Exciminiano's fresh term was not divulged.
As had been its practice, Alaska didn't give details of the packages signed by the four players.
The signings brought to six the Aces had given new contracts before the league's 42nd season comes to a close.
The team earlier also gave veterans Sonny Thoss and Jvee Casio each a two-year contract extension, but no longer renewed senior players Dondon Hontiveros and Tony dela Cruz.
All six players made up the core of the Alaska team that failed to make the playoffs twice in three conferences of a season that saw the Aces endure a franchise worst 14 straight losses bridging the Commissioner's and Governors Cups.
