Sarah Jessica Parker can’t let the Carrie skirt go. The iconic white tulle mini-skirt that Parker wore for the first time almost 20 years ago for the Sex and the City title sequence has continued to find its way into her closet in one form or another. Her latest iteration of the skirt is decidedly more “grown up,” a longer, black A-line Oscar de la Renta version, which Parker wore to the grand opening of Intimissimi lingerie in New York on Wednesday night.

Parker has never been one to distance herself from Carrie Bradshaw, and she continues to honor the character as she branches off into other businesses. Her shoe line, S.J.P., features the “Carrie,” a T-strap heel with a pointed toe. When Parker launched her line of L.B.D.s last fall, the first dress to hit the racks of Bloomingdale’s was a black strapless dress with a tulle, tutu-inspired bottom fittingly called “Title.”

“Crazy and thrilling to see this come to life,” Parker wrote on Instagram last October. “We call her ‘Title.’ A sleeveless above-the-knee dress with a layered tulle tutu that's quite sentimental, if you know what I mean.”

Given the recent updates about Sex and the City 3, the world may never get to experience Parker play Bradshaw again, but at least Carrie can live on in a way she’d want—through fancy tulle skirts.
