Pentile OLED from Samsung is actually rubbish. The panel is only saved by it's high resolution, people are too stupid to realise this. Real-stripe OLED and JDI-LCD is the future.

Sony has been one of the world best producers of 4K HDR big screen TV's & yet it's left behind in the smartphone OLED display market, the Xperia Z5 premium was a real pioneer in mobile world with its first UHD screen though, keep up the good work Sony.

Reasons for sony's failure in smartphone market - poor lcd displays, poor loudspeaker ( even its stereo spkrs sound worse than any other phone with single spkr), inferior camera quality ( grainy in even broad daylight).... dusplay spkr cam !

The only thing that matters to me is the overheating feature, a legacy of a Sony smartphone. I won't be able to fry burgers if it disappears. :(

Sony, when it comes to innovation where it matters, is slower than a tortoise while being pulled of by a Titan.... is it even surprising?
They literally downgraded theyr platform, from the Z5 Premium industry standard for VR and AR applications alongside improved multimedia experience (even if limited by Sony's 1080p mode all the time when not on official apps), but now, theyr just another phone not even worth buying.

i dont know with other people, but my eyes are not comfortable looking at an oled screens, pictures or views in LCd screen is much more realistic than oled screen, but oled is good for playing games or watching cartoons or anime.

[deleted post]Well even with the latest OLED display from Samsung or LG the risk of burn in and retention is still higher than LCD so at least on that area LCD is still better from the latest OLED from LG and Samsung.
