Beauty queen evacuated from photo shoot after severed HUMAN FOOT found on location

Stunning Valeria Piazza - the current Miss Peru - had to be comforted by colleagues after seeing the decomposing body part wedged between rocks in a river near the spot where she was sitting.

Police arrived to take the foot - said to belong to a male - away with them.

Brunette Valeria, 26, made her shocking discovery during a photo session on the banks of the Shilcayo River in Tarapoto which straddles the base of the Andean foothills.

Local reports said it was believed the foot had been severed by a professional because it was such a clean cut.

Angela Munares, a TV presenter who was with the reigning national beauty queen at the time, said: “It was Valeria Piazza who said there was a human foot by her. 

“We’re sorry for what happened and we hope she recovers from what has been an awful moment for her. 

“Who could have imagined something like this would happen in the city centre!”

Pictures of the beautiful model posing in an eye-catching white cotton dress before the macabre discovery were published today as details of the foot find emerged.

Angela was also photographed pointing out the place between the two rocks where Valeria spotted it.

Before making her grim discovery, the model wrote on her Instagram page during a break in her photoshoot: “I’m in love with Tarapoto.”
