Bizarre piglet with the face of a MONKEY born in China – but family decide to raise it like a baby

A TINY piglet born with the face of a monkey has baffled not only locals but the internet too.

Snaps show the mutant piglet appears to have a monkey’s head, a small snout and a protruding lower jaw.

In one picture, the monkey piglet can be seen being fed like a baby at the home of its owner in Zhijin, Guizhou province, China.

This isn't the first time a pig has been born with a facial deformity - with new mutant pigs being reported from South America through to China.

Experts believe environmental pollution have played a role in the pig’s peculiar appearance.

Another "mutant" pig born in China with two snouts and three eyes was posted online.

Its owner said they had been rearing the piglet since it was born.

In the video the animal is seen with other piglets and it's mother tries to pick it up.

Earlier this year, bizarre footage of a piglet born with a human-like face and a "penis" on its head emerged was posted on Chinese social media.

In the clip, the mutant animal also features a small snout, large tongue and a protruding lower jaw.

The tiny piglet can be seen yawning and gasping for breath as it’s held up to the camera.

Its bizarre deformity has prompted people online to speculate on what could have caused the defect.

Some people believe environmental pollution has played a role in the pig's peculiar appearance and death.
