Amber Heard was set to donate her $7 million divorce settlement from her split with ex-husband Johnny Depp, but no charity has got the cash yet.

Amber and Johnny reportedly reached the agreement in August following their shock divorce earlier this year, shortly after the actress insisted that she would be giving the millions to charity.

Amber, 30, had reportedly wanted to split the whopping sum to ACLU, with a particular focus to stop violence against women, and the Children's Hospital of Los Angeles.

Now her lawyer Pierce O'Donnell has told E! News that Amber had not been able to donate the settlement fees because the divorce documents had not been finalised yet.

O'Donnell said: “The settlement documents are being finalized and will be signed this week. Johnny is obligated by the settlement to pay Amber, and she in turn will honour her pledges to Children's Hospital and the American Civil Liberties Union.”

He continued: “Amber's commitment to protecting victims of domestic violence and helping sick children is her life's work. Her recent PSA on domestic violence does not violate her settlement agreement with Johnny. She will continue to lend her voice to the rising chorus of women speaking out about this terrible scourge on the American family.”

Last week, Amber spoke out to help eliminate violence against women.

The actress, who alleged ex husband Johnny Depp was "verbally and pysically abusive" towards her during their time together, gave a powerful public service announcement for a project with GirlGaze.
