Gisele Bundchen, Adriana Lima and Francisco Lachowski: there's something in the water that makes Brazilian models some of the most successful and genetically-gifted in fashion.

Perhaps it's the sunshine and lifestyle, or maybe it's related to the country's diverse ethnic gene pool. The fusion of Latin, Asian, African and European communities that live in Brazil have created a mindblowingly beautiful populace.

Victoria's Secret have Brazil to thank for their famous models, both past and present, including Gisele, Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima. But let's not forget the boys - the dreamy good looks of Francisco Lachowski and Marlon Teixeira have put them at the top of casting director wish lists.

Known for: Being the highest-paid model in the world, with a net worth of $360 million. She makes around $128,000 per day from ad campaigns alone. Then there's her lucrative flip-flop, book and underwear ranges.
Past experience: Victoria's Secret, Versace, Givenchy, Chanel, Marc Jacobs and Salvatore Ferragamo to name but a few.
You probably didn't know that: She was rejected a lot in the early start of her career on the basis her nose was too big. Bet those designers regret that decision now...

Known for: Being a long-standing Victoria's Secret Angel, as well as a regular at Coachella.

You probably didn't know that: She had her ears pinned back when she was child, but suffered complications two years later which has put her off plastic surgery for life.
Izabel Goulart
Known for: Being a Victoria's Secret Angel and the face of Armani Exchange.

You probably didn't know that: She had a rough time at school and was nicknamed "giraffe" for her slim build.

Known for: For being a the longest-standing Victoria's Secret model, having joined the company in 2000. She is the second-richest supermodel after Gisele, with earnings of $9 million in 2015.

Marlon Teixeira
Known for: Being the most beautiful male model in the world (sorry David Gandy), as decreed by our sisters over at Spanish Glamour in 2015. Just look at him.
Past experience: Emporio Armani, Dolce & Gabbana, DSquared², Roberto Cavalli, Jean Paul Gaultier and Dior Homme.
You probably didn't know that: He owes his modelling career to his grandmother, who introduced him to is grandmother introduced him to the owner of Way Model Management - a friend of the family.
