Heidi Walker family

Heidi is a single mom of 3 kids. Brynn-16, Asher-9 and Hudson- 8.  They live in a small rental cottage in silverton.  Rent is very reasonable, just $1000 a month.  Heidi works two jobs.  One is managing a small coffee shop and the other is as an Case manager/advocate for Safety Compass.  She advocates for sex trafficking victims.  She works 45 hours a week, is a worship leader in her church and gives back to the community when she can.  Things have become difficult just recently because the State is now beginning to garnish her second job.  Through a difficult divorce and some complicated circumstances, Heidi ended up with a 21k tax debt.  A payment agreement couldn't be reached because of the large sum of debt... she was advised to allow them to garnish as the payments would be based on 25% of her income.  When they were garnishing one job, life was manageable.  When they are now moving to garnish both jobs, it is not livable. If that wasn't enough, her alimony is ending in March.  In total, she will be losing $1600 in income all at once.  This is devastating because as it is, things are tight and she doesn't have a cushion or wiggle room at all. If Heidi and her kids are not in a suitable home, there is obviously also the question of custody of her children.   She is working with a tax expert to try to strike a deal with the IRS, but until there is some resolution, which could take several months, she will not be able to pay her rent.  This GoFundMe is being set up to keep Heidi and her kids in their home until a long term solution can be found.
