Product Overview:

Lower leg injuries are not only painful but also inconvenient. While underarm crutches provide a degree of mobility, they are often uncomfortable and burdensome. The iWALK 3.0 Hands-Free Crutch from iWALKFree simply straps on and allows for easier mobility while keeping weight off of the lower leg. The upper leg and lower leg supports can each be adjusted for your ideal fit and comfort. Additionally, certain below-the-knee amputees can also benefit from the mobility offered by this hands-free crutch.
This product is non-returnable.

More Information

People suffering from lower leg injuries, such as fractures, tendon tears, and plantar fasciitis are often told to avoid bearing weight on their injured leg. On many occasions, underarm crutches are prescribed to help prevent bearing weight and causing further injury. Unfortunately, underarm crutches can cause discomfort and additional injuries. With iWALKFree's iWALK 3.0 Hands-Free Crutch, your comfort and recovery are guaranteed.

The iWALK 3.0 Hands-Free Crutch braces the lower limb and holds it comfortably behind the user while providing a stable foot to allow mobility. The knee rest is padded to ensure comfort during use. The crutch's design allows you to walk and have full use of your hands for daily tasks.

This crutch has an adjustable strap to secure the upper leg; the lower strap also adjusts to the ideal height. The foot on this model is longer and wider than previous versions, which provides additional stability. This unique crutch can accommodate users from 4'10" to 6'6", giving them the mobility that might otherwise have been lost.

Certain below-knee amputees can also benefit from the iWALK 3.0. If at least (4) of the residual limbs are available and the party meets other standard requirements, this device can often provide mobility until a custom prosthesis is ready.

FAQ For iWALK 3.0 Hands-Free Crutch

? Have a question about this product? Click here to ask us!
What is the difference between the iWalk 2.0 and iWalk 3.0?
Answer: There are many improvements that have been made for the 3.0. The thigh support surface area has increased by 30% for increased comfort and stability. Thigh support pads are also thicker for comfort and durability. Thumb screws are 89% large so that it is easier to lock down the thigh supports. The Knee Platform pad now has built-in channels for cooling and increased airflow. This pad is also thicker. Height adjustments are now on both sides verses only the right side. This increases stability and reduces noise. There is also now a quick release buckle for faster donning on and off. The color-coded straps are more intuitive.
Is there a meaning for the colors on the iWalk 3.0?
Answer: Yes, on the straps! The black straps are for length adjustment and the blue straps are for tension and to loosen (on or off).
Does it fold for getting in and out of a vehicle?
Answer: That's a great question, unfortunately, this item is not foldable. Nevertheless, you can adjust the height to make it smaller and easy to handle inside of the care
Do you have an iWalk crutch product that a BK amputee can use in the shower or swimming pool?
Answer: This is the only iWalk product we currently list, and unfortunately it is not recommended to use it in the water. I apologize for the inconvenience, as I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for.
